I like to check in during work breaks, so you'll see me on for short periods during the week ADST. I'll start that book club after I get my book finished and then pop on from time to time as I knock out another one. I know there's one or more lists of Iditarod books on the forums from before, so I'll try to track that down too, before I get too involved. I haven't gotten too involved in the videos, but we have a couple of the earlier ITC dvds that are always great to look at.
I'm glad you're still checking out the forums as I've much enjoyed your non-tiresome ;) enthusiasm and contributions. Enjoy your spring. :D
So glad I won't be the only one checking in from time to time. Sometimes, as you well know, when we are following the race for as many hours as the teams themselves are racing, one tends to get a bit slap-happy. That is when I start to post things that some might find tiresome. I however, find them to be quite amusing - at least to me. Thanks for saying you enjoyed my non-tiresome posts. It certainly makes the race far more interesting to me when I can contribute to the threads. Even better when someone other than myself, enjoys them as well.
Our spring in Boston has been our winter. Beautiful for most, but I am a winter person and missed the cold and snow. The second week of the race and last week were in the high 60's to 80's. This week we are experiencing weather more like the end of our usual winters. Twenties at night and 30's & 40's during the day. I suppose next week we will be in the 90's with high humidity. Yup, just gonna have to move to AK. Can't take the heat.
Look forward to you future posts and the Book Club.
