I was just wishing I knew someone in Nome who could record it off the radio - would be easy enough to do, if you were there. KNOM is a religious radio station, and perhaps for some reason the concept of streaming their content beyond their local community isn't important within their concept of their mission, or maybe it is too expensive or complicated technically with whatever equipment they have. I contacted them a few years ago and their response was simply that they don't do online streaming. I see on their website that once again they are broadcasting the banquet live, but are reiterating that they have no streaming.
KICY, another Nome church's radio station, does stream, but they don't broadcast the banquet.
The folks at Iditablog did say that they are going to record the banquet this year, and promised to post the unedited audio tomorrow, and an edited version that cuts out all the silent gaps while people are walking to the stage, etc., in a day or two. I am crossing my fingers that they are successful and that we can access that tomorrow.
