The Last Great Race

This is a series of videos from the 2008 Iditarod. I believe it aired on the Discovery Channel. There were 6 one hour episodes in total, without commercials each episode is about 45 minutes. I watched this last year and it's really a great series.

You can watch it online at Amazon for a cost of $1.99 per episode. You can download it to your computer to rewatch it at anytime. It's well worth the price.

I'm sure many of you have seen the videos, but for those of you who haven't I would highly recommend it. Beautiful scenery, beautiful dogs, and very informative. This was the second year Lance won the Iditarod.

Iditarod: The Toughest Race on Earth -- It is available on Netflix, too. This was the year of the great Mackey "fake sleep and sneek out" trick.

(I wish they would make documentaries like this every year.)

I wish they would also. It just gives you a much better perspective of the race.
