My 60 year old uncle with aunt on back was making a motorcycle trip on the Harley from Fairbanks to Sturgis when he slipped around backwards in the Alcan mud and into the ditch.
This guy gets out of his motorhome with cowboy boots and hat, wades through the mud, makes sure everyone is ok in a drawl? then helps him push it back on the road.
It was Slim Pickens on his way up to Alaska to film that movie.
Uncle received an award that year for having driven the furthest to get there.
Also hauled the first load to Prudhoe Bay following the Cats as they made the haul road and wolves following them.

Me, I remember the races with Dr. Rolland Lombard, the North American. have an original of Spirit of the Wind that I purchased on ebay from a guy that said he had the rights to produce it. cost was $45 so if you can find one reasonable on Amazon, better jump on it. At the time I looked for several months for one.
