New buddy....adopted him from local pound last September, his name is Chance.

Of all my Siberians, he is the best behaved and most humble....but still starts a ruckus from time to time with the other huskies, but that is forgivable.

Chance is maybe 4 years old,and goes with me to many places, and loves being around children.I really need to change my nic name here, as now I have 8 Siberians.

7 ...er...8 Siberians! whoot! you have a team! Half an Iditarod team, actually.

Here's a video of a couple of mine rig mushing on the local Rail Trail.

I've had an assortment of rescues over the last 15 years or so, all wonderful, despite their unknown breeding and history. I note that Zoya DeNure was a former fashion model until she got (snow)hooked on mushing and that she makes a point of rescuing dogs and running some on her team. Cool.

U need to go back into photoshoppe or wherever u do your pics and "save for web" or webdevices or something like that....if u have the option make sure to change the pixalcount to something under 100 ...i like 72. Make it a small image as well, like 1"x2' ....

g'luck 8-)

Its tricky at times getting the images sized correctly. I use Photobucket, they have fantastic sizing capabilities, and image enhancement.

Most of my Siberians were rescue dogs, those huskies my rescue could not take, I took instead. Some of the bunch are older huskies, such as Alaska, going on 11 yrs, with Chance being the youngest at 4. One husky,Apollo, an elderly Greek lady asked me to care for when she went to a nursing home.

Wish I had the energy level to keep up with them.

Pictured are Frosty (the Walrus) and Slim (incognito without hat).

Frosty had been in trouble in his prior life. I once took him to a vet for a leg injury, the vet called me and wanted me to come look at his X-rays. In his backside were buckshot pellets. I almost renamed him Buckshot.

Ok so I don't seem to know how to post pictures, but I'll tell you about my cuties..
Scout is an 81/2 year old Bearded collie who is the BIGGEST couch potato ever. loveable, sweet, and really not the brightest bulb on the tree. (wonderful with kids)

Jack in contrast is a 2 yr old rescue. We had his dna done cuz we just couldn't figure out what he is. He's a coonhound/husky mix & there is some puli & giant schnauzer thrown in there. Funny cuz he looks just like a shepherd! anyway he LOVES to run & when he gets too active we keep telling him we are going to ship him off to alaska. A musher would love him-boundless energy & focus!

I have two Purebred Siberian Huskies, one AKC and one unpapered.

Embry, 2 year old Black and White unpapered male. I've had him since he was 10 weeks old and he is the sweetest boy. We finally conquered his fear of bikes and sleds so I hope to get him pulling more this winter.

Zoey "Myshka's Fierce Vixen Zoey", 1 year old AKC red and white female. We rehomed Zoey from her breeder when she was 14 weeks old after being returned by her original owner for being nothing but a Husky puppy. If only her original owner knew that she was the most well behaved Husky puppy I've ever owned! She loves running and now that she's old enough I know she will take wondefully to pulling a sled!

Here she is, resting at the end of a portage in Minnesota's BWCAW.

Honey Bear had to be put down this past May. The Vet suspected that she had cancer, but in any case, she wasn't eating much, and had become quite lethargic. RIP, my good friend.
