At the bottom of the page is link called "Subscribe topic". You'll get an email as soon as the party people start talking!

Great idea. :!: My "Subscribed topic" is checked, so I don't forget. Now to go back between now and then to catch up and read all the links that I'm passing by now just to keep up with the race.

After CRS conversation a couple (days, pages?) ago, I had to share this.

Scene is after dinner at the off season summer party, Lennie and Oscar still at the table, the ladies in the kitchen to bring in dessert, as the men had carried the lasagna

Oscar: “Lennie, thanks for flying us all in for this, it’s been a load of fun. What was the name of that restaurant we went to on Tuesday? It was very good.”
Lennie, after a momentary blank look: “What is that stone called, shiny, red, usually in a ring?”
Oscar: “You mean a ruby?”
Lennie: “That’s it.” Turns toward kitchen. “Ruby, what was that restaurant we all went to Tuesday?”

No hint of winter here. It is in the mid thirties so we went to the pond for some water retrieves. Dogs lay on the deck for a bit while they dried out but are now lying on the concrete floor in the basement.

Be there or be square. I actually will NEED the distraction about that time.

Hello. I heard there was supposed to be a party going on here... :)
Good thing Ruby didn't come with me. She hates to be the first one to show up.

Still no one here? Well, the food is as good as advertised, so I will put it back on ice and hope someone shows up later. I will be back here once in a while myself... :)

Well, someone's been here today and done a nice job with the decorations. Think I'll help myself to more food while I wait here for a while. :)

I'm out of here for tonight but will check back in at various times tomorrow. Don't worry, there's still plenty of food.
