FLASH COMMS to COMMS- What’s going on with the big pile up in Shaktoolik??? Questions, why the traffic jam in Shak, whats the delay, why no one out? Our COMMS guy calls their COMMS guy Andy. White Mountain judge can talk to Shaktoolik judge?

Blowing snow, stiff winds, temperatures temper musher exits. Our records show that no mushers in Shak have left since 4:00 p.m. yesterday. Our sources in Shak assert that visibility is ABOUT a quarter mile and no one is sure of the severity of the ground storm on the ice to Koyuk. The mushing population continues to stack in Shak—–waiting for weather to moderate.

Hey Mackey fans! Have any of you considered the pure coincidence of the poor performance of Lance the last two years and the fact that they have been drug testing the past two years? Anyone? Bueller? Just an observation from a long time Iditarod watcher. ;) I'm just finding this very very interesting.

I find your statement about Mackey very offensive, disrespectful and completely untrue! Your post is disgusting considering he is a cancer survivor and needs medications from the treatment he received after his surgery. And if you checked the facts as '2dogsmyana" wrote, this is the 3rd year of testing and Mackey still won that first year of testing! Please keep your posts more respectful and simply BE KIND! Be sure to check your facts before you write something that is completely false and hurtful.

This. And as well, do remember, as a cancer survivor, Lance has a license for medical marijuana. He chose not to use it, in the first year they tested, and he won.
