Dogs in the race

I see in the standings that all teams are listed as having departed Willow with 16 dogs, which we know is not the case. Will this be corrected at the first checkpoint or sooner so it doesn't appear that dogs were dropped?

If you look on the Yentna Station leaderboard page the number of dogs arriving are correct.

I guess I missed that. What team or teams did NOT start with 16 dogs? I thought starting with 16 dogs was mandatory!

From the Iditarod rules:

Rule 17 -- Dog Maximums and Minimums: The maximum number of dogs a musher may start the race with is sixteen (16) dogs. A musher must have at least twelve (12) dogs on the line to start the race. At least six (6) dogs must be on the towline at the finish line.

If I remember correctly one team started with 12 dogs this year, one team started with 14, and one started with 15...everyone else started with 16
