Lulu Bell lives is Grayling, which is one of the village checkpoints on the trail this year. She's so excited to see the race and bark at everyone (encouragingly, of course) racing by! She did a little pulling last year, and as soon as her new harness comes in the mail, she's going to give this pulling thing another try. Maybe she'll be so inspired that she'll race in the Iditarod someday!

I sure like Lulu Bell! I bet she does bark at the other huskies!

Queenie and Alaska and Slim..........

We currently have six Siberian Huskies. Here are a couple photos. It's their world, I just live in it.

Thank you. That would be fine with me. We'll be breeding again in April, so I wonder if there will be any of that litter that we'll have to keep....er..I mean, not be able to sell...
One day I might just have enough for a proper sled team. WOW.. what a dream that would be. We're just starting to learn about sledding as a team and let's just say that my respect for these mushers grows bigger every day. Your dogs are beautiful too. But, I am extremely biased.

Wesley and I love the Iditarod because it embodies the concept of traveling with dogs in the wilderness. Wesley and I often backpack together and recently completed a winter hike on the Appalacian trail in NJ.

Our two retied sled dogs. The black one is one of Warren Palfrey's dogs, we've had her for 2 year now, this is last winter we were out skijoring and stopped for a break.
