I'm glad y'all enjoyed it. Aliy and Allen's site is really top notch - especially the videos!

I'm more than happy to share whatever I find while feeding my own Iditarod obsession. 8-)

Alright Mitten, I'm looking for another video. I THINK it was from here but now can't find it. It was of a team crashing down the Steps (I think). It was one of those that made you say OHHHHHH OWWWWWW.

Maybe in the "greatest race" dvd? Or the Discovery Channel series?

I've never seen any footage going down the steps. I'd would really like to, though. I looked and couldn't find any online. Sorry. :|

I thought it was just a short video clip online but I'll check those out again and see if I just saw it there. Thanks for looking.

Since this thread was bumped, I just HAD to go watch the video that started this thread again. It is still my favorite and I still wish I knew what that music was.

M'kay, let it never be said that I am not persistent (or stubborn) about searching. ;)

I DID finally find a very short (14 second) clip filmed on the steps. It is from the Discovery Channel footage.

Ah darn, close but not quite the one I was looking for. Makes me think that it is on the dvd though. The one I'm looking for is not such a closed space and has a wreck with sled and dogs rolling down the hill, in the daytime. Thanks though, I had forgotten about that one.

I'm with Mitten, SP Kennels has done an amazing job of documenting and sharing their experience throughout the year in text and videos. My hat (and mittens) are off to cheer Ally and Allen and their amazing teams - both 4-pawed and human. After last year there was a huge void after the last posting of the banquet videos, that if weren't for Ally and Allen, I would have had withdrawals worse than any drug.

I am ready for sleepless nights and a great race!

Mitten, on an earlier blog you didn't know about signing up for the insider......It's the top thing on my Christmas wish list. Better this for two weeks than a sweater I will never wear!

Well, it was a tougher decision this year financially- but I get so much joy out of following the race that ultimately I scrounged up the money to renew all of it.

I had thought about just buying the GPS part but then I wouldn't be able to watch my favorite video linked two posts above anymore. And with that said I'm going to go watch it AGAIN for...oh... about the 256th time. :P
