iPhone Version Ready to view

Postby Russ_IonEarth on Mon Mar 23, 2009 2:12 am

As a going away present here is the link to the iPhone version of the race tracker. Watch the final 6 mushers from anywhere for those of you with a modern phone browser. Works good for those of you with slow connections too.

The easiest way to get this to you phone is to email the link to yourself, then open the link by checking your email on your phone.

None of the GPS will be turned on till the 'Official" restart tomorrow.

Don't even know for sure if there will be an iPhone version. I think they were just testing it out at the VERY tail end of the race last year. Hopefully there will be.

Thanks mitten! Yes I REALLY hope there will be one this year as it's pretty much the only way I will be able to track the GPS

Russ, I also am interested in Motorola Droid version for 2010 finish, but was able to see the GPS of Junior Iditarod well on Droid without anything special in the official Iditarod site.
